Alberto Ortiz

I was born in Barcelona (Spain) on the 6 of December, 1984. At age 12, a friend lent me one of his books to read, a novel by Eduardo Mendoza. From that moment I love reading and in my free time, I like to write stories.

One of my hobbies, besides writing, is travel. And it is during one of my travels when I am know of a literary competition organized by the hotel chain where I stayed. From that moment, I decide to participate in more literary competitions, taking fortunate that several of my stories have been published. The most recent: "Aquí estoy" (Here I am) in the book "Ilustrofobia" organized by Underbrain Books.

"Back to the Past" is my first novel as author, which is counted as a family must survive hooded falling by surprise while celebrating the birthday of one of its members and strangers later events in the story that just drifting and making them back in time many years ago. A relentless struggle to survive your fears and your past.

“El libro de las Citas Inquietas” is my second book, it's a compilation of the best phrases and famous appointments of all the times, concerning seven fundamental topics of the life: Love, Friendship, Humility, Humor, Patience, Solidarity and Personal Overcoming. A book to come into your heart and conquer your soul.
