A.K. Kossak

Kossak grew up in Germany, graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and worked for more than 30 years as a cinematographer, producer, and screenwriter. He joined the Writers Guild of America in 2004.

In 2014, while teaching screenwriting at Cal State University, San Bernardino, he partnered with the university’s Veterans Success Center to launch “Written by Veterans.” Members of this creative writing program for veterans and their families have published more than 100 books, including five anthologies.

For his work on behalf of veterans, Kossak has been recognized by the California State Assembly, the California State Senate, and the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. He also received the San Bernardino County Community Excellence Award.

As a novelist, Kossak plunges his readers into the fringe worlds of twenty-something, sophisticated schemers who prey on the upper crust for a living and turn on each other for the sheer challenge of the perfect betrayal.
