Barbara Lowell

Barbara Lowell an award-winning author of traditionally published nonfiction picture books, early readers, and school and library books. Her latest nonfiction picture book, A Fine Little Bad Boy: Quentin Roosevelt in the White House (4-8 year olds,) will be released on August 13, 2024, by Creative Editions. She is also the author of the upcoming school and library book, Oklahoma, to be released on August 1, 2024, by ABDO Publishing.

Barbara loves writing and collecting picture book biographies, chocolate, her cat, and traveling to new places especially in Europe. She is an active member of SCBWI, SCBWI Oklahoma/Arkansas, the Courage to Create, and the 12x12 Challenge.

She lives in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
