Mike McQueen

Award-winning Teacher-Librarian, Mike McQueen, overcame his own reading struggles as a young boy and now receives international recognition for his expertise in getting boys to read. He has spent more than 20 years teaching in a variety of at-risk schools; he served the first 11 years at the elementary level followed by 9 more at an alternative high school, which serves more than 800 struggling students each year.
