Fr. Ed Wills Bio
Raised in the Southern Evangelical tradition, Ed was licensed to preach by the Grace Gospel Fellowship when he was only 18. He developed an interest in historic Christianity while a student at Oral Roberts University. This led to graduate studies at the University of Dallas in Greek exegesis and Patristic literature. After serving as a Bible Church pastor, Ed was ordained in the Charismatic Episcopal Church. He committed to the Roman Catholic Church in 2000 and was ordained a Roman Catholic priest.
Having retired from pastoral ministry, he serves as a conference speaker, retreat leader and parish mission director. His books include:
Learning to Listen to God, which reflects on the prayer life of various saints and helps the reader create their own modality of prayer.
Lord, Heal my Wounded Soul, which guides the reader through prayer exercises that help the reader find healing from PTSD and other soul wounds.
Receiving the Holy Spirit with Gifts of Power that leads the reader into both a better understanding of the Holy Spirit and a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Father Ed is married with three lovely daughters and seven grandchildren. His wife, Cheryl, is the author of Who is Jesus?
