Gil Alligood

Gil retired from the US Air Force Reserve with 26 years of service and the rank of colonel. He served as a pilot aircraft Commander flying into forty countries, and in several areas of military conflict. He also served at Headquarters Air Force as a Plans and Programs officer.

He retired from a career as a consulting engineer. After that retirement he began writing novels. He has published five novels with the sixth at the publisher(February 2022). The seventh novel is complete and ready for the publisher.

His first five novels are action and adventure. Characters are based on people he has known in places he has spent time. The sixth and seventh are Christian fiction novels.

Gil and his wife fly his Piper Arrow airplane for travel and visits to their children and friends.

He has outline plans for several more novels. He is beginning of his eighth novel with plans for publishing it.
