Lynn Boland

Lynn Boland (b. 1975) received their PhD in art history at the University of Texas at Austin, studying under Linda Henderson (advisor), Richard Shiff, John Clarke, Ann Reynolds, and Elliott Antokoletz (musicology). From 2009 to 2017, they were the Pierre Daura Curator of European Art at the Georgia Museum of Art, University of Georgia. From 2017 to 2025, Boland served as Director and Chief Curator of the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art at Colorado State University. They currently work as an independent curator and advisor, and help run the project and exhibition platform, Art + Access.
