Lynn Boland

Lynn Boland (b. 1975) received their PhD in art history at the University of Texas at Austin, studying under Linda Henderson (advisor), Richard Shiff, John Clarke, Ann Reynolds, and Elliott Antokoletz (musicology). From 2009 to 2017, they were the Pierre Daura Curator of European Art at the Georgia Museum of Art, University of Georgia. From 2017 to 2025, Boland served as Director and Chief Curator of the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art at Colorado State University. From July 2025 to July 2026, they worked as an independent curator and advisor, co-founding the project and exhibition platform, Art + Access. Since July 2026, they have served as Executive Director of Museum of Art Fort Collins.
