Olivia Dresher is a publisher and editor, anthologist, and writer of poetic fragments and aphorisms. Her writings have appeared in a variety of online and print literary magazines as well as in anthologies, including Short Flights (2015) and Short Circuits (2018) (both anthologies edited by James Lough and Alex Stein). She has written 5 books: Fragments of a Failed Mystic (2023) and A Silence of Words (2019), both books reflecting selections from over 68,000 Twitter posts. She is also the editor of In Pieces: An Anthology of Fragmentary Writing (2006), and co-editor of the anthology Darkness and Light: Private Writing as Art (2000). In 1974, under the name Olivia Clark, she published her poetry chapbook A Candle in the Ice. Since 2009, her “notebook” of spontaneous short writing has been at Twitter, where she has a significant following.
