Lorraine Stacy

Lorraine Stacy was born on Long Island, New York. Her Mother was a first generation American and her Grandmother was from County Clare, Ireland. Lorraine grew up listening to folk tales about the "old country".

Lorraine is a graduate of West Babylon schools and Empire State college. She has four daughters , six grandchildren, and a new great-grandchild. As her children and grandchildren grew, Lorraine enjoyed telling them stories and expanding on her Grannie's tales.

After retiring from a successful career in the Insurance Industry on Long Island, Lorraine used her time to pursue her hobby of telling stories, either by creating new stories with her grandchildren as characters or retelling old folk tales.

Lorraine's books are meant to be fun and easy to read while including a simple life lesson.
