Doug McFarland

Doug McFarland taught law students for 39 years, and they elected him Professor of the Year in each of those decades. After writing thousands of pages of books and journal articles on law, he has now added non-fiction and fiction. Few Are Chosen: A Campaign Memoir is the story of his run for the U.S. Senate in Minnesota. He thinks it is insightful and humorous; you may too. Most recent is his book Chief Justice: A Supreme Court Insider's Novel, which in the structure of a mystery reveals many of the secrets about life in the Supreme Court that he gained from two years working as Counselor to Chief Justice Warren E. Burger. Now retired, Doug and wife Mary split time between Minnesota and Arizona. His website is www.dougmcfarlandbooks.com.
