Peter C. Wilcox

Peter C. Wilcox, was a psychotherapist and spiritual director for over thirty years. He holds a doctorate in theology from the Catholic University of America and has taught at the Washington Theological Union, Loyola University in Maryland, and St. Bonaventure University. He has directed retreats and conducted seminars on personality development and spiritual growth for many years and his latest book, 'I was Gone Long Before I Left' was published September 2020.

His previous publications are: John Henry Newman, Spiritual Director 1845-1890; A Sheltering Tree, Inspirational Stories of Faith, Fidelity, and Friendship (2014); Don't Be a Waster of Sorrows (2015); There are No Right Answers to Wrong Questions (2016); Walking Each Other Home, Reflections About Living a Christian Life from an Older Dad to His Daughter (2017); The Hidden Faces of Courage, Inspirational Stories About the Courage of Ordinary People (2019). Dr. Wilcox lives in Aiken, South Carolina, with his wife, Margaret.
