Kim Weiss has been in the publishing business since 1994. Prior to her position as Director of Communications for HCI Books (Health Communications, Inc.), she ran her own public relations firm in Boca Raton, FL, called WW Communications, Inc. where she created pr campaigns for individuals, corporations and municipalities. She now consults and freelances from her home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
She was with HCI during the making of such phenomenal bestsellers such as the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, A Child Called “It’, What the Bleep Do We Know, Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45 and most recently, Going Rouge: Sarah Palin, An American Nightmare, a book by HLN host, Jane Velez-Mitchell titled iWant, The Dead Celebrity Cookbook series by Frank DeCaro, Peruvian Power Foods by Manuel Villacorta.
At HCI, Kim headed up her own imprint, Simcha Press. She has also been published in the following story collections: Chicken Soup for the Shopper’s Soul, Chicken Soup for the Soul Celebrates Cats and Hot Chocolate for the Mystical Soul, and the brand new tome, The Ultimate Bird Lover, where she has two stories and one photo credit.

When she’s not working with authors, Kim is taking photos, studying with her vocal coach, playing her piano or guitar, dreaming of lying on the beach somewhere, or being entertained by her cast (and her husband).
