Thomas Michaud

Thomas Michaud has over 25 years of experience in illustration, design, and education. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in Web Design and New Media at the Academy of Art University in 2011. Currently Thomas is a Facilitator and Curriculum Developer for Center Centre -- a user experience design school in Chattanooga, TN. Previously, he spent eight years as an assistant professor of Web Design at Andrews University, including six years as the program director for the design curriculum. While at Andrews, Thomas won the Augsburger award for Excellence in Teaching.

Thomas has a well-rounded skill set. His diverse skills range from coding a responsive website to sketching endearing caricatures. Thomas is a tenacious, life-long learner. His book, Foundations of Web Design: HTML & CSS, provides an accessible, yet comprehensive look at web design and front-end development.
