I am the proud author of ‘Closing the Gap’ series, ‘Why Learning Fails’, 'The Confident Teacher', and 'Teach Now! English'.

I work for a national charity in England focused on supporting disadvantaged pupils to break the link between parental income and academic attainment. Formerly, I was a proud English teacher and a school leader for over 15 years.
