Brian Karcher

Brian currently no longer identifies as a Christian, but grew up in the Catholic Church with the idea to become a priest, became entangled in a cultic college Bible study group (UBF) for 24 years, with the idea to become a missionary, and enjoyed a brief journey in a Detroit area North American Baptist church, where he was baptized. Brian is married to his beautiful and intelligent wife since 1994, and has four amazing children. His full time job is currently a software engineer. Brian has participated in a VantagePoint3 Journey Cohort in 2013, an ACT3 Missional Ecumenical Leadership Cohort in 2014, and Matthew Vine’s Reformation Project Leadership Cohort in Washington D.C. in 2015. Brian's favorite sports team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, favorite movies are Star Wars, Ever After, Office Space, and Dumb & Dumber, favorite TV shows are Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and Black Sails. Brian's Meyers Briggs personality is the Advocate (INFJ).
