James Hitt

James (Jim) Hitt grew up in Dallas, Texas, the general area in which the events of THE COURAGE OF OTHERS takes place. He graduated from North Texas State University and holds a MA in English and history. He taught high school and community college in California for over thirty years. In addition he has also been a lecturer for the Gene Autry Museum and is a member of The Western Writers of America.

He has made a series of videos "Looking for Literary America," which can be found on UTube and at bookglow.net. He publishes Straitjackets Magazine at straitjacketsmagazine.com. His blog is hittlist.com
