Jeff Kline

For more than two decades, Jeff Kline has been one of the fortunate few "genre nerds" able to move freely between primetime and daytime television, motion pictures and the Web, and the East and West Coasts. In 2013, he formed Darby Pop Publishing, a comic book imprint distributed worldwide by IDW. The company's inaugural book, Indestructible, was Kline's first foray into comic book writing. Currently, Darby Pop Publishing has four unique titles available (INDESTRUCTIBLE, CITY: THE MIND IN THE MACHINE, THE 7TH SWORD, and DOBERMAN) with a fifth -- DEAD SQUAD -- scheduled to drop in October.

As both Writer and Showrunner, Kline has been responsible for more than 40 animated and live-action series and pilots, including multiple Daytime Emmy® Award-winning CG series TRANSFORMERS PRIME (The Hub), THAT WAS THEN (ABC), G.I. JOE: RENEGADES (The Hub) and a slew of venerable animated series including JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES (Kids WB), MEN IN BLACK: THE ANIMATED SERIES (Kids WB), ROUGHNECKS: THE STARSHIP TROOPERS CHRONICLES (Syndicated), BIG GUY AND RUSTY THE BOY ROBOT (Fox Kids), and GODZILLA: THE SERIES (Fox Kids). He is currently in full-blown production on TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE -- scheduled to premiere in early 2015.

Kline lives in Maine with his Wife, his Daughter, and his Red Sox memorabilia. And commutes to Los Angeles constantly.
