Michael Vetter

Michael Vetter spent his childhood and teen years in Latin America and the Caribbean before he attended college in Massachusetts. He received degrees in Mechanical Engineering (Lowell Technological Institute, now UMass Lowell) and Ocean Engineering (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) before being commissioned an officer in the U.S. Air Force.

His service in the Air Force included tours as a scientific and technical intelligence officer in the fields of hydroacoustic signals collection, airborne reconnaissance operations and Cold War threat analysis. During an assignment with the Air Force in Florida, his life was changed forever when he and his wife trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior.

After nine years of active duty with the Air Force, he spent twenty-five years in the civilian defense sector as an analyst, project manager, and department head in the fields of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).

Michael's interest is in writing action adventures suitable for Christian youth and young adults with high-technology plots in an entertaining literary genre, some say, that is characteristic of Clive Cussler. Michael is active in the teaching ministry at Salem Bible Church in Salem, NH. He enjoys kayaking, downhill skiing, ocean cruises, and especially long road trips with his wife, Mary, in her sports car.
