An avid reader since childhood, Nancy M. Wade always enjoyed writing stories and upon formal retirement in 2012, she decided to pursue her passion. Nancy has written five historical novels, including a western action adventure trilogy called the “Circle-D Saga”. Writing under pen name B.R. Wade, Nancy produced a dark crime drama and psychological thriller called "Echoes in the Fog".
A lover of all things mysterious, Nancy created two cozy mystery series. “A Meadowood Mystery” is set in a small Ohioan town with amateur sleuth and housewife, Meredith Gardner. There are eight novels to date in this series.
The “Maddie Brooke Mystery” series includes novels centered in a historic, southern bed and breakfast inn where recent college graduate turned sleuth, Maddie Brooke, resides with her German shepherd, Luke, and her grandmother’s spirited ghost. Maddie is joined by her two college friends, Dr. Lily Chung and Lionel Hogan plus the handsome Yankee detective Allen Crawford.
Nancy is married with 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Nancy and her husband are living their retirement dream in the hills of Tennessee. She's a member of the Lost State Writer's Guild of the Tri-Cities area of TN. An honors graduate of East State Tennessee University, where she concentrated in criminology and film studies.
