Steve Daar began his entrepreneurial career at the age of 22. Armed with a finance degree from the University of Illinois and essentially no training or experience in marketing or sales, his first attempt was an awe-inspiring flop.
He quickly realized that he would need to learn as much as he could about the topics of marketing & sales if he was going to ever be successful with any business.
Thus began a journey, that’s now over a half decade long, diving deep into various components of marketing. Through thousands of hours of study, trial-and-error application, and connecting with several brilliant mentors, he was ready to test his skills on a larger playing field.
Steve managed online advertising spend (over $1.3 million) and led conversion optimization efforts for Fortune 500-level clients as an employee at a digital marketing agency. But after some time as an employee, the entrepreneurial itch started coming back. After reading John Mackey’s "Conscious Capitalism," Steve knew what his next endeavor was going to be.
Wanting to help "conscious" businesses (businesses that have a mission, purpose, service and/or charity component, etc. that looks to give back to the world in some fashion) to increase their profits and better fulfill their mission, Steve started Conversion For Good.
With the goal of helping entrepreneurs & business owners market more effectively as well as inspire them to add a "conscious" element to their company, he wrote Profit Hacking.
Steve & his Conversion For Good team now work with a small number of clients at a time to ensure the greatest level of service and results. He also regularly interacts with the Profit Hacking Insiders to help them maximize their results, works with a small number of Profit Hacking coaching clients, and leads a Profit Hacking mastermind group.
