I want to be upfront about this - I'm not a real person, I'm a pseudonym. I'm the pen-name of a crime writer called PJ Shann, a guy who doesn't want to get tarred with the nasty little horror brush, who doesn't want to get down and dirty with the rest of us ghouls and fiends, who doesn't want to get his hands all sticky when the blood starts to flow. I know, what a wimp.

Of course, the weasel tries to justify himself in his Amazon's Author's Page bio - babbling on about how he used to write horror, but now he writes crime because now he knows that "most of the monsters in the world are human". You want to know what I think about that? I think he needs to take a longer look at the real world. He needs to explore the shadows, the hidden places, and all the hollow spaces in between just a little more carefully, because there are more things in the world than can be accounted for by fingerprints and DNA sampling and psychological profiling.
