Bryan Kolar

Born and raised in central Oklahoma, Bryan Kolar spent his youth in comic book stores and playing Dungeons and Dragons. One of his games turned into a novel, Swords of Destiny: Tales of Fate and Endeavor.

Through the experience of self-publishing his first book and the positive reception that followed, Bryan was inspired to continue the Swords of Destiny series with a second novel, Warriors of the White Faith. A third novel is planned for a future time.

Kolar has also authored thrillers, such as The Dream Recorder, and inspirational dramas like The Follower. Fingertips: Five Tales of Gothic Mystery and Monsters Reinvented is a short story collection in the realm of weird fiction.

Kolar's latest novel is The Waypoint, a horror tale of a disturbed middle-aged man who finds himself seeking refuge in a strange house in a secluded area. There are others there too, but they don't remember how they got there.

Bryan has a background in both Psychology and Information Technology. He enjoys hiking and painting miniatures. In spite of the fact that he paints miniatures, Bryan is married with a son. They also raise two mini Aussies: Scout, named after the To Kill a Mockingbird character, and Chip, a blue merle who doesn't listen.
