Celia Sankar is an internationally acclaimed journalist and writer whose career has taken her to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America and the Caribbean, as well as to remote areas and major cities of the United States and Canada. She has worked with "The Globe and Mail", "The Vancouver Sun", the Associated Press, the BBC, "The Times" of London, and the "Sunday Times" of London, and is a former associate editor of the "Trinidad Express", one of the Caribbean’s leading dailies. The winner of several international media awards, Sankar did her Master’s in journalism in London, England, and has taught writing at an Ontario college. She has been a life-long seeker of truth and student of wholesome living. Through her inspirational newspaper columns, motivational lectures and an inspirational radio talk-show which she co-hosted, Sankar has touched the lives of thousands in many parts of the world. Sankar is the founder of the DiversityCanada Foundation, a Canadian not-for-profit which works towards engendering a fairer and more harmonious society.
