Bob Ley moved from Marietta, OH to Cambridge, OH in 1963 and opened a men's clothing store. He married his wife, Sue, that same year. After running the shop for 42 years, he sold out and then added six years as Safety/Service Director in Cambridge.
Art, in some form, has always been part of his life. He designed and built wood furniture, built a speedboat, enjoys acrylic painting, many of which he has donated for fundraisers.
He founded and co-chaired Dickens Victorian Village, a Christmastime art spectacular of 180 life-size Charles Dickens mannequins in downtown Cambridge, an event that draws thousands to his hometown.
He most recently has authored a series of e-novels called 'Class of '59' depicting the life and times of the graduates of a small town Ohio high school. There are five exciting books in the series, 'Class of '59', 'The Grads', 'The Senior', 'Bully' and 'Black in '59'. Look up my website:
