Brian H. Appleton

Brian H Appleton, free lance journalist, author of non fiction on Iran and poet and most recently he launched his first fiction a novel entitled Immorality and Immortality about a man who can remember his past lives which takes place in ancient, renaissance and modern Rome and Greece as well as contemporary France, London, Manhattan, Westport, CT and LA.. He was born in Tokyo Japan in 1950 and lived in Greece 3 years, Italy 13 years and lived in Iran from 1974 to 1979 and has been a peace advocate ever since. He has written for CASMII (campaign against sanctions and military invasion of Iran), Persian Heritage Magazine, Iranian.com, Payvand.com,Irandokht.com, Zan Magazine, Persian Mirror.com, Payam Javan Magazine, Pejzhvak of Persia, Hack Writers.com, My Life in Italy.com, Bitch Magazine, Al Jazeera English addition, The Guardian and others. In addition to Tales from the Zirzameen about his personal experiences in Iran, he wrote the biography of an Assyrian christian minority family from Western Azerbaijan entitled Shamshone; Sun of Assyria.

He launched his first book of poetry July 14, 2014, Bastille Day. It includes two years' worth of poetry he wrote from July 2012 to July 2014 in four languages. His readers talked him into doing this. Check it out!

He has now published four more books of poetry as well as an illustrated book by author with 68 illustrations called Greek Goddesses for Girls available in Italian and Greek editions as well as English and in a coloring book edition for younger girls.

Some of his work is also featured in the anthology: "Love and Pomegranates" which is co-dedicated to him for recruiting seven other contributors for it.
