Olga Fyne

Olga Mullings-Fyne was born in Jamaica, West Indies. She's been married to Wenton Fyne, a minister of the gospel for the Church of the Nazarene, for 45 years. She has three adult children and holds a master’s degree (plus 30 credits above) from Brooklyn College. Olga studied at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, which led to permanent Schools Dist. Administration (state) certification. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Caribbean University & Empire State College and a Doctor of Divinity degree from Northwestern Theological Seminary.

Olga is a National Teacher Trainer in Classroom Management & Differentiated Instruction and is a Literacy Leader with certification from the CUNY School of Professional Studies, NY. She taught in N.Y.C. public schools for 25 years and wrote 18 adult and children’s books, in addition to several poems and quotes. She became an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene after studying at Nazarene Bible College and the Palmers Institute. She teaches and preaches nationally and internationally and is a dynamic expositor of the Word. Olga is also a dynamic speaker, conference and workshop facilitator, and a certified mental health counselor with credentials from Light University. She’s also a NYC Public School’s vendor, who is MWBE certified.

Despite her busy schedule, Olga still finds time to conduct frequent author visits to schools, both public and private, and engage students in reading activities (Fynemations) using rhyming songs, her original rhyming poems, and gems, and ends each session with reading to them. These activities play a vital role in sharpening listening skills, heightening interest in reading, and improving phonemic awareness significantly.

Olga’s hobbies are fishing, writing, singing, rhyming, and telling jokes. She is philanthropist by nature and loves the Lord passionately.
