Jane Frances Ruby

Jane Frances Ruby was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in the baby-booming, blue-collar suburb of Willowick. Loathing to write, she only did so for her college degrees and job security. She wrote several technical papers for The Lubrizol Corporation and earned both her bachelors and masters degree while in the Research Department. After getting married and starting a family in Phoenix, AZ, she turned to fictional writing. Her first novel "The Azurite Encounter," and its sequel, "Voiceless Whispers" were written with help from both her daughters, avid readers of young adult fiction. She marketed both adventure novels to encourage young adult reader to learn about Arizona's weather, geology, folklore, and geography. Her third work, "I Dream I Wake I Write" was recently published and contains several of her award-winning short stories.
