Michelle Marsh resides in East Tennessee with her husband and two children. She had a garden as a child and wanted to pass on the experience of gardening to her children. Starting with small planters on the porch, they moved on from there. She soon discovered that she needed a way to keep track of their accumulating garden information and to do it without using up precious space on the monthly calendar. In particular she needed a way to keep track of their garden activities - what they had done, when they had done it, and what still remained to be done. It would be great to have all that information in one place!
Such were the beginnings of the GARDEN JOURNAL AND PLANNER. As it developed, Marsh added more features to make the Journal/Planner more useful as a garden management tool as well as a book of garden memories. Although initially planned for her own use, Marsh wrote the GARDEN JOURNAL AND PLANNER to be a book of practical use to all gardeners, one that would help them create a record of their garden they would use both as a reference and enjoy browsing through for years to come.
Marsh's second book, "GROCERY STORE GARDEN & JOURNAL: How to Create an Indoor Garden from Food You Buy at the Grocery Store," is an easy-to-use, fully illustrated reference book with accompanying journal pages. It is family friendly, i.e., projects are easy, require little preparation, are no- or low-cost, and can be completed by most children with minimal adult supervision. In the Kindle version, journal pages are replaced by instructions on how to make a garden notebook and a BONUS on what to include in your garden journal.
