Kurt Winans

Kurt Winans was born and raised in suburban Los Angeles California, but discovered many years ago that the mountains and wide open spaces of the high desert are more to his liking. Vowing to someday live and work in such a location, the dream eventually became reality for Kurt. He and his wife have resided in Northern Nevada since the earliest days of the current century, and the surrounding terrain has fed his imagination ever since.

Long solitary hikes, countless nights of star gazing, and the occasional round of golf have enabled Kurt to develop the plotlines and the characters found within his entertaining historical science fiction stories.
