Daryl Ross Halencak

DARYL ROSS HALENCAK

Daryl Ross Halencak is the author of "Staring Blue Eyes", a book of prose poetry. He is honored to have been a 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Woody Guthrie Poet in Oklahoma. He was recognized by the 17th Annual Artists Embassy International Dancing Poetry Festival, where he was invited to give a reading of his work in San Francisco, California. He lectured in an advanced composition class at Oklahoma City University. He was also the featured poet at the Oklahoma Central University.

He has presented his works for the 35th Southwest Popular Culture and American Culture Association Conference held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The paper was presented for "Disabilities: the Real World" for an international audience. The paper was entitled THE HEALING TOUCH OF POETRY.
