Tyke Evenese

Tyke Evenese writes fiction that explores the lives of people and the forces that drive them. Besides writing fiction, he enjoys writing computer programs, in no small measure because it pays the bills. A skier and a biker, Tyke enjoys the arts and specially Latin dancing.

The idea for Nails! - Tyke's first published novel - came from an article in New York Times about nail salons. A lot of the inspiration for the style of this work comes from Scott Fitzgerald, and particularly "The Great Gatsby". Tyke believes a story must present its characters' attempts - sometimes comical, at times desperate - to overcome the boundaries placed on them by the society they live in.

There are two other stories, both larger in volume, that Tyke intends to publish later in the year.
