John Michael Manship is originally from Raleigh, NC, now based in Chicago. His first novel, Cambridge Street, is available on amazon.com, and his second book, Off Track, which documents his vegetable-oil-fueled trek across the United States, is available pay-what-you-can through his website, www.jmmanship.com. His most recent writing project is a blog called Entropy is Easier (www.entropyiseasier.wordpress.com), in which he is challenging himself to move closer and closer to a waste-free life in 2016 through the accumulation of and adherence to twelve waste-related rules.
