William Gravil

W. B. Gravil is an author, poet, musician, and visual artist whose creative work reflects a lifelong passion for history, heritage, and storytelling. Born in Sikeston, Missouri, and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Gravil draws deeply on his Scottish-Irish ancestry and his fascination with the mythic traditions of the six Celtic nations. He is a proud member of the Saint Louis St. Andrews Society and actively supports efforts to preserve and celebrate Celtic culture.

In addition to his novels, ranging across both fiction and non-fiction, Gravil has published collections of poetry and essays. He is also a musician, having recorded two full-length albums, and an accomplished visual artist who works in painting and charcoal. His creative versatility shapes a body of work that seeks to inspire imagination, honor heritage, and tell stories that endure.

Gravil lives in St. Louis with his wife, Danielle, herself a young adult novelist, and their four children: Chance, Llyndon, Helana, and Rhiannon. Together they share a home filled with music, books, and creative energy.
