Caroline Varin

I am a lecturer in Security and International Organisations at Regent's University London and Associate Fellow at Global South Unit, London School of Economics. I previously worked at Richmond University London. I hold a PhD in International Relations from the LSE, an LLM in International and European Law from University di Bologna, and a BA in Comparative Politics from the University of Pennsylvania.

My research interests focus on non-state actors, violence and the use of force, emerging security threats and the evolving role of the nation state.
