He is the author of 12 retail management, marketing and text books, including the best selling retail managers’ “bible” Just About Everything a Retail Manager Needs to know and Gourmand Award winner of Best Culinary Travel Book 2016, Food Tourism authored with his wife Linda.

John, an MSc, taught perishable retail management at a college in the UK before becoming a consultant where his skill in perishable management and creating rapid stock turnover made him highly sought after in all retail industries.
