Kim Winter

Gudrun Ranftl has lived in Frankfurt since 1989 and has published three novels: “Dancing with Fire,” “Yoga + Murder” (under the pseudonym Kim Winter), and “That’s How it Should Be…” She has enjoyed telling and writing stories since her childhood, so there was no surprise that her professional career also revolved around writing.

For more than 25 years, she has worked in various agencies as well as for filmproductions and television. As an online and print editor, she researched stories, wrote articles, and handled public relations; for several of those years, she also worked worldwide as a production and event manager. Since 2011, she has been a certified Iyengar yoga teacher with her own studio in Frankfurt.

The Austrian is married to an American HSI Special Agent. Thanks to numerous extended stays in Washington State, Hawaii, and Arizona, her latest book offers a timely and compelling look at the people and the drug trade in America.
