Jake E. Sampson

Jake E. Sampson is a horror and dark fiction author whose work spans short stories, novellas, and longer fiction across science fiction, crime thriller, and literary horror. Since 2012, he has published several titles available internationally, including The Resurrectionist, Animi Fictionem, and Little Silver Dagger. His writing is shaped by influences ranging from Clive Barker, H.P. Lovecraft, and Edgar Allan Poe to Philip K. Dick, Mary Shelley, and Stieg Larsson, and is drawn consistently toward the idea that the true horror in any story is rarely supernatural, it's human. Originally from the United Kingdom and a graduate of Cardiff University, Jake now lives and writes in Los Angeles.
