Summer Lee is the pseudonym for Verna Hargrove. Born in 1937, Verna lived through World War II. Verna chose this name to keep her fiction separated from her non-fiction. She writes fiction under the name of Summer Lee. Her goal is to keep the stories basically clean, which causes some reader to be offended. Those who follow her believe as she does that a clean novel can be enjoyed by adults.
