Greetings to all children and parents.

I am a retired teacher and a grandma . Looking For Lucy is the book that my grandkids helped write with my cat Lucy as the star. She was the source of much chasing when 4 grandchildren visited. Lucy ran, and grandkids spent their time tracking her. I thought it would make a good story so I played with the idea for some time before I decided to put it on paper.

The illustrations are done in water color to give an old fashioned look. The language is simple and readable for young children. Lucy hides in the pictures which adds an extra level of fun.

Looking for Lucy won the Midwest Book Award in 2010 and the Bronze. Medal ELit award in 2011.
