Amanda B. Nickerson

Amanda Nickerson is a distinguished professor of school psychology and the director of the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. With a passion for making schools safer and helping young people thrive, she specializes in preventing bullying, violence, and abuse while promoting social-emotional well-being.

Amanda has authored over 150 publications and delivered more than 400 professional presentations. As a licensed psychologist, nationally certified school psychologist, and a fellow of both the American Psychological Association and the American Educational Research Association, she is dedicated to turning research into real-world solutions that positively impact kids and schools.
