Claudio Calabrese

Claudio Calabrese is the author of twenty-three novels and over 160,000 copies sold across multiple genres.

He is best known for the Inspector Andrea Pantaleo series — a procedural noir set in the sun-scorched streets of southern Italy that has accumulated over 21 million Kindle pages read and is published in print by Solferino (RCS MediaGroup - Corriere della Sera), one of Italy's most prestigious publishing houses. The complete series is available exclusively in audiobook format on Audible.

Before writing fiction, Calabrese spent twenty years as a forensic consultant for the Bari Public Prosecutor's Office, specializing in fatal road accident reconstruction. That experience gave him something most crime writers can only simulate — an instinct for evidence, procedure, and the cold logic behind violent death.

His work was presented at the Turin International Book Fair in 2023.

He lives in Bari, Italy.
