Michael Howarth

Michael Howarth currently teaches Children’s and Young Adult Literature, as well as Film Studies, at Missouri Southern State University. He is the author of two critical texts: Under the Bed, Creeping: Psychoanalyzing the Gothic in Children’s Literature and Movies to See before You Graduate from High School. He is also the author of two novels, the young adult novel Fair Weather Ninjas and the gothic historical novel A Still and Awful Red.
