Caitlin Weeks NC

Caitlin Weeks is a certified Nutrition Consultant and personal trainer in San Francisco. She is the founder and author of a very popular Paleo recipe blog entitled, Grass Fed Girl, where she shares advice and tips about holistic health and Paleo nutrition. She has written 2 books to date, including Easy Paleo Gelatin Treats, 30 Healing Recipes for Gummies, Puddings, and Smoothies. This book is available on Kindle and features 30 egg, grain, and gluten-free Paleo recipes that allow the reader to learn how to make Jello in tasty and healthy ways.

Weeks co-authored the Paleo Mediterranean Cooking, Over 125 Fresh Coastal Recipes for a Relaxed, Gluten-Free Lifestyle, with her husband, Chef Nabil Bourmar. Nabil Boumrar is a currently a professional chef at an 5 star international hotel chain in downtown San Francisco.

Two experiences influenced Weeks' and Bourmar's interest in writing a Mediterranean cookbook. The first was teaching a cooking class where the patrons were extremely enthusiastic about the food. Followed by a 3-week trip to Nabil's home country which cemented their commitment to bring these recipes to the home cook and healthy living enthusiast.

Weeks commented "We thought of the cookbook because my husband is a Mediterranean Chef and I'm a Whole foods Nutritionist. We started combining the ideas of each in the kitchen, over dinner, and loved the results.I wanted to share this with everyone, especially all my followers from Grass Fed Girl. I've loved helping people live the Paleo lifestyle and I hope this brings new flavors and ideas into their meals."

Weeks and Bourmar are available to teach nutritional cooking seminars nationwide and hope to have their own cooking television show one day.
