Tim McHyde shares biblical insights unlike any other, no doubt because he has been through a modern "wilderness experience" unlike any other.

Rather than graduating from seminary as most serious about the Bible do, in 1999 Tim moved to Costa Rica where the lack of English-speaking congregations near him forced him to stay home and find out for himself what the Bible said (an intimidating task, as only those few who have actually read the Bible from cover to cover can appreciate).

After years of daily study and Internet research, he could finally understand the Bible by accepting and harmonizing the plain sense meaning of related verses, instead of allegorizing, ignoring or twisting them as is the norm in Christian exegesis. While he concedes that nobody has all the answers, this approach has helped him understand many longstanding biblical mysteries, including, yes, the bulk of the once mysterious Book of Revelation.
