Janet Fisher's historical novel, The Shifting Winds, was a finalist for the Nancy Pearl Book Award sponsored by the Pacific Northwest Writers Association.
She grew up on the farm featured in her first book, A Place of Her Own, and now owns and operates this family treasure purchased by her great-great-grandmother more than 150 years ago.
Janet's photo was taken at the 5,200-year-old passage tomb of Newgrange in Ireland where she traveled to research her upcoming novel set in ancient Ireland.
