Thomas Dittmar was born at Holloman AFB N.M. on June 19th, 1960. The son of a German father and Japanese mother, he was raised on many Air Force bases around the world, including Hahn AFB Germany, Kadena AFB Okinawa, McCord AFB Wa.and Edwards AFB Ca.
In 1971 his father was stationed over-seas (Vietnam war), and his family lived in Rancho Cordova, next to the American River, near Sacramento. That is where his love of the Salmon and River's began.
From 1976 on, his summer's where spent fishing, hiking, gold prospecting, and camping, in the beautiful Gold Country of the Sierra foothills, and mountains.
He starting working in Auto sales in 1981,after attending American River College as an Art Major.
In 33 years he has held all jobs on the "sales" side of the automobile business, from salesman, to closer, to finance manager/director, used car manager, sales manager to general sales manager. Winning and receiving numerous "top performer" and "Customer Satisfaction" awards along the way.
He has trained and worked with hundreds of top performers, and has been trained by some of the best sales trainers in the business, including Joe Verde, and John Palombi.
He has negotiated with over 60,000 people in his lifetime!
Also, He has the experience of overcoming and moving forward after deep personal loss. Having his oldest son pass in a tragic car accident, divorcing after a 25 year marriage, and his other son rupturing his colon (he is fully recovered).. All in the same year! He has swam on...

Tom's hobbies include golfing, painting, gold prospecting, and yes.. fishing.. :O)
