Lori Bachman

I was raised in Nebraska and although my cowboy father might have liked me to go into the cattle business with him, (sorry, Dad!) I opted to drive west to Denver, CO after college and take up a business career in aerospace. I loved the world of space exploration and did my best as a business and finance professional to help create some amazing joint ventures and start-ups in that world. (It was fun working with astronauts too)

Mentoring is my life passion. I believe in it, buy into it, hope for it and talk about it wherever I go. I champion the four-step process in my book - Know. Show. Grow. Go. because it is a tried and true, time proven and powerful way to pass on career and life skills.

Steve Jobs said, "I just want to put a ding in the universe." He certainly did that in an exceptional way and I think my readers, like me, want to do the same thing in our worlds. Make a difference. Know that we matter.

So I joyfully write and speak about a lasting, effective and fun way to mentor. I hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I enjoy writing about it.
