As well as being the author of Echoes Of Andromeda Emyr has dabbled in various creative fields over the years, specialising in satire. He has been described by none other than the former presiding officer of the Welsh Assembly, Lord Elis Thomas, as Wales’s premier satirist.
He has been part of several satirical shows over the years both as performer (an excellent impersonator) and writer, in both Welsh and English. Examples of his work include:

He has acted in many famous television dramas and comedies including:
Pobol Y Cwm, C`mon Midffild, Teulu’r Mans, Porc Peis Bach
He has acted on stage in various productions such as 'Dinas Barhaus' for Theatr Bara Caws and 'Sgint' for Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru (Wales’ National Theatre.) He has also performed stand up routines at various venues across Wales.
A former member of Welsh Ska group 'Y Ficar,' he currently plays bass guitar for 'Geraint Lovegreen a’r Enw Da', and is currently working on a one man satirical show about the welsh pop scene.
He is currently voice director for Lefel Dau’s Welsh language production of 'Dennis The Menace' having just completed the same job with the Welsh language version of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.'
A keen follower of Welsh rugby he went to New Zealand to watch the World Cup enjoying an excellent run by Wales, almost reaching the final. Whilst there he presented a few comic interludes for S4C.
He lives in Y Felinheli with his wife Mari herself an accomplished author and actor and their three sons, Ifan, Aled and Gwion.
