Risa Pleasant

Risa Pleasant has been married for 34 years. She is a graduate of Total Word Concept Bible Institute in Inglewood, California. Risa and her husband, Mark, were licensed and ordained into the ministry through Family Worship Center Ministries, Inc. They have two adult children. Mark and Risa have planted and co-pastored two churches. They taught ten-week courses for newlywed and engaged couples, and counseled couples for over 15 years in Hampton, Virginia. Risa knows marriages aren't perfect and that they take work. She loves to see people married and has a strong desire to help couples stay married They have spoken at several retreats, seminars, youth and young adult services, as well as men's and women's groups on sex, STDs, and other marriage related topics.
