Royce Levi has been a teacher, retired now after 50 years of teaching: 29 in infants, primary, secondary and 21 in three universities. He has published ten books, both fiction and non fiction, children's stories, the history of cricket, and adult fiction.
Royce has played and followed sport, especially cricket, for much of his life. He is a Cricket Blue from the University of Newcastle and the University of New South Wales.
He is a student and lover of drama especially, having studied the history of theatre at post graduate level at the University of Sydney, and directing student theatre at Nepean CAE for several years. He also created and managed a student Theatre In Education team called the Phoenix People that performed to more than 4,000 Western Sydney school pupils. In the 1970s he published a book entitled Lighting The Fires Of Drama for the Education Department of New South Wales.
Royce loves writing. He is still writing with great enthusiasm.
